I’ve been an unapologetic fan of pumpkin spice-flavored treats ever since the first Pumpkin Spice Latte debuted at Starbucks in 2003. I was 14 at the time, and I thought my coffee-drinking days would be far in the future. Before long, I was out running errands with my aunt, who took me to Starbucks for a PSL. It was love at first sip.

Now, more than 20 years later, I still get excited when PSL season rolls around. That unique flavor profile of warming spices is always special to me, and I don’t care how many products roll out every year with a limited-edition pumpkin spice flavor. I want them all

Pillsbury Grands! Pumpkin Spice Rolls are at the top of my grocery list right now. I’m not the only one, because other fans of the product have already taken to Instagram to express delight at its return.

Pillsbury Grands! Pumpkin Spice Rolls

  • The Product: Soft, gooey Pillsbury rolls made with pumpkin and Cinnabon cinnamon
  • Why I’m Excited: I will never, ever be able to say no to a warm cinnamon roll on a fall morning, especially if that roll is topped with pumpkin spice icing.

Why I'm Excited About These Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Rolls

I like anything that Pillsbury sells in its signature tubes, because I like to live on the edge, and that sudden pop scares me every time. Then, on the other side of that fear, there are cinnamon rolls.

The pumpkin spice version of Pillsbury's cinnamon rolls comes with pumpkin spice-flavored icing. Between the Cinnabon cinnamon in the rolls and the pumpkin spice icing on top, it’s easily the best way to start any Sunday. (Or end it, because I love a cinnamon roll as a dessert. Who said they’re only for breakfast?!)

If you want to play around with the soft cinnamon roll dough, bake the rolls in a muffin tin with some pumpkin purée to make cinnamon roll cupcakes with a pumpkin center. It’s the kind of easy, low-effort treat that looks complicated but takes almost no effort to make.

How to Buy Them

You can find these seasonal, limited-time pumpkin spice rolls right now at grocery stores nationwide. They are stocked right next to the rest of the Pillsbury products—mine is in the same refrigerated aisle as the eggs and yogurt.

My number one rule when buying limited-edition treats is non-negotiable: You have to buy two. It’s just good sense!
