Philadelphia Just Released the Product I Wait for All Year Long

When you think of fall, what comes to mind? Perhaps it’s the colorful foliage or the roar of the crowd at a football game. Maybe you start planning cozy outfits with boots, tights, and sweaters.

For me, fall is always about the flavors. I love hearty stews, roasted butternut squash, and of course, pumpkin spice.

The older I get, the more I lean into my love of pumpkin spice everything. I used to stick to pumpkin spice lattes, which are a classic for a reason—they’re delicious. But now, every time I see a new pumpkin spice product drop, I’m adding it to my cart.

Which is why I’m so happy that Philadelphia is bringing back its best seasonal offering: pumpkin spice-flavored cream cheese!

Why I Love Philadelphia's Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese

I wait for this spread all year long, and I’m not the only one. Fans on social media have been asking Philadelphia to make its pumpkin spice cream cheese a year-round offering.

While I do love this cream cheese, I think that there’s some merit in keeping it seasonal. Sometimes things taste better if you have to wait for them. To yearn is to be human!

This cream cheese combines real pumpkin, cinnamon, milk, and cream for a smooth and creamy spread. It’s pale orange, which is also a very aesthetic topper for your bagel or toast. I love to put it on a Cinnamon Crunch bagel from Panera for the ultimate fall snack.

This flavor has endless applications, though, and I encourage you to think outside the bagel. You can use it to make a tasty cream cheese frosting to top pumpkin cake or cupcakes. Or imagine swirling it into a pumpkin loaf!

No judgment if you want to eat a couple of spoonfuls as a midnight snack—I know I have.

Where To Find Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese

The tubs are back on Walmart shelves across the nation, so you don’t even have to wait until September. They will roll out at other grocery stores over the rest of the season. 

While I usually like to wait until the weather feels crisp to break out the fall flavors, I’m going to make an exception for this pumpkin spice cream cheese. Just writing this story has my mouth watering.
