You probably know Dr. Praeger’s best for their Littles line of wholesome snacks for youngsters, helping parents get vegetables into their kids’ diets for more than 15 years. These bite-sized “better for you” alternatives to the typical freezer-to-oven foods are a lifesaver on busy nights with picky kids, and now Dr. Praeger’s has launched a new product that the grown-ups will want to get a taste, too!
Created to appeal to kids and adults alike, Dr. Praeger’s new veggie-packed Pizza Stars are a healthier take on pizza rolls made with cauliflower, zucchini, oats, and mozzarella. “Pizza Stars deliver everything people love about pizza—cheesy, savory, and delicious—while packing in real veggies, whole grains, and simple ingredients you can trust,” says Andy Reichgut, CEO of Dr. Praeger’s.
Also included in this launch are Taco Stars, Ranch Crunchy Veggie Fries, and Broccoli Cheddar Cheesy Bites, and everything can be found nationwide at stores like Target, Whole Foods, FreshDirect, Kroger, and Albertsons.

Why I Love Dr. Praeger's New Pizza Stars
Please allow me to provide a rave review. I got to taste test the Pizza Stars and Taco Stars ahead of time and was instantly a fan. They were exactly what I wanted and needed on a busy night when I didn’t feel like cooking dinner, was craving comfort food, but still wanted something healthy-ish.
With a good amount of protein per serving in both the Pizza and Taco Stars, I paired a handful with some sliced veggies and dip. Not only was it an easy meal, it completely satisfied my conflicting cravings—the stars ate like an indulgence, but read (on the nutrition panel) like a smart choice.
I will absolutely be stocking my freezer with more Dr. Praeger’s snacks for future lazy nights, but they would also be great for a movie night or casual party snacks. They are ready in ten minutes, and can be cooked in the microwave, air fryer, or oven. I tried them in the air fryer and oven, and found they crisped up better in the oven, but were delicious regardless.
If you need a few ideas for easy vegetable sides to serve them with, honey glazed carrots, grilled English peas, and quick and easy asparagus can all be made in about the same amount of time it takes to cook the stars.
