Aldi offers a wide range of products that my family craves, and every so often, there’s one particular item that we can’t get enough of. Lately, it's the new Fusia Asian Inspirations Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings. I’ve made three trips to ALDI in the past week, and while this is not unusual, I went all three times to get more soup dumplings.

Why I Love Aldi’s Fusia Asian Inspirations Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings
The new Fusia Asian Inspirations Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings come in a package of six, which sells for $3.39, or approximately 57 cents per dumpling. Besides the pork filling, they’re also available with a chicken filling. As the package promises, the dumplings cook in two minutes in the microwave.
I think they would taste better if you actually steam them, but I haven’t had the pleasure of trying that method. I didn’t get to taste a single dumpling from the first two boxes I purchased because all 12 dumplings were consumed relatively quickly by my 15-year-old son. “These are really good, Mom,” he told me, as he popped the last dumpling into his mouth.
So the next time I went to Aldi, I purchased three packages and finally got to try one. I understood why my son ate 12 of them in one go. The filling is meaty and moist, with a subtle sweet-savory taste of green onion, ginger, and soy sauce.
The dough is chewy and just perfect for a soup dumpling. The dumplings are so delicious that they don’t even need a dipping sauce of any kind. I think they’re as good as some of the dumplings I’ve enjoyed as takeout.
I would love to try them steamed in a Korean Dumpling Soup with eggs and green onions; a fast, easy, and delicious meal. The dumplings would make a perfect appetizer to go along with a Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry. I know they would be an absolute hit at a party with my friends and family.
We’ll see if I can actually snatch a single dumpling before my son eats them all. He’s had them as snacks both before and after volleyball practice. He’s eaten them for lunch and as a late-night meal. He’s even had them for breakfast because why not?
In any case, I have to make another trip to Aldi because he’s eaten all of the dumplings, and he’s craving more.
