  • Easy Tarte Tatin

A tarte tatin placed on a white plate a dessert consisting of caramelized fruit arranged over a pastry base

    Simply Recipes / Molly Allen

"Very simple and easy to make tarte tatin with just a few ingredients. I baked mine for 40 minutes but feel that it could have gone a little darker, so I would err on the longer bake time next time. I had some trouble flipping the tatin out of the cake pan after 10 minutes of cooling, so I would recommend either spraying the pan with cooking spray before adding the butter or reducing the cooling time after it comes out of the oven so that the caramel isn't as set. Overall, the flavor of the tatin and the contrast of the soft, caramel apples with the puff pastry was delicious."—Stephanie C., Simply Recipes Reader
