While scrolling through the ALDI Nerd Recipe Community Facebook group recently, I  came across a post by Brittany Harrison for what she calls “hands down the best ALDI combo ever.” I was immediately intrigued. Below the text, there was an image of two ALDI items I had never purchased before, let alone tried together.

Though it was a wild-card combination, I immediately understood the vision and knew I had to try it. So what’s the best ALDI combo ever, according to this Facebook post? Benton’s Lemon Cookie Thins with the Emporium Selection Blueberry Vanilla Flavored Goat Cheese Log.

Why Pairing ALDI’s Lemon Cookie Things and Blueberry Vanilla Goat Cheese Works

This sweet treat is truly effortless, requiring just two ingredients with a total cost of $6. I never would’ve thought to eat a cookie with cheese, but because it’s a sweetened goat cheese, it works.

I love how lavish and unexpected this easy combo feels, marrying the crunchy lemon cookies with the smooth, creamy dessert cheese. And though unusual, the pairing is grounded in the reliable, bright, and classic combination of lemon with blueberry.

Priced at $2.65, the Benton’s Lemon Cookie Thins are delightfully lemony and buttery. Though thin and crunchy, they have a slightly rich, shortbread-like taste. The Emporium Selection Blueberry Vanilla Goat Cheese costs $3.45 and tastes like a blueberry cheesecake filling with a hint of tangy goat cheese flavor. How to Serve This Pairing
