My pantry is like my brain: mostly organized, but with a few chaotic areas that I haven't gotten around to sorting out. There are labeled bins, yes—but also a container that might hold quinoa or birdseed—still TBD.

I dream of a magazine-worthy pantry, but with two small kids, a full and busy life, and not enough time, I sometimes have to settle for winging it.

When I saw Aldi's latest organizational release—a Pembrook Compact Bluetooth Label Maker—for just $19.99, I immediately added it to my "Must Buy" list.

Why I'm Super Excited About Aldi's Bluetooth Label Maker

It's like the label maker of the future. I can connect it to my phone via Bluetooth, design something cute or minimal, hit print, and a clean, crisp label will come out—no ink required. It's like having a tiny, precise, and cute (if I do say so myself) office assistant to help keep me in line.

After comparing identical products online, the app is incredibly user-friendly, offering a range of fonts, icons, and even small graphics that would make labeling more fun and enjoyable.

I like that I can type on my phone or iPad's familiar keyboard instead of wrestling with tiny, frustrating buttons that traditional label makers use. I owned one of those in the past and stopped using it because I'd have to do things like press the "2" key three times just to get the letter "C."

The thermal printing technology is also incredibly efficient because I won't have to worry about buying ink cartridges.

I've already started thinking about how I'm going to tackle my pantry. While I love my chalk marker for labeling many things, this label system feels like a much more chic approach to tracking my bulk store purchases.

I'd also like to use it to label my kids' school supply caddies, my craft supply bins, and all the plastic storage bins in our basement that hold items like Christmas decorations, next season's clothing, and other seasonal or less frequently used, but necessary, items.

Because it doesn't require any additional parts or ink cartridges, except for roll refills as needed, I appreciate that I'll be able to quickly print new labels without having to plan ahead or make a special trip to the store.

It's also portable, so I can carry it from room to room and tackle organization projects as inspiration strikes.

The $19.99 price point also makes it feel like a no-brainer purchase rather than a splurge, and it will quickly pay for itself with the time I save not digging through drawers looking for things.

If you're like me and have spent your fair share of time grumbling while rummaging through cabinets, this label maker might be the gentle push you need to get your spaces in order, too. No minimalist makeover is required.
