Experience
Victoria kicked off her career in IT Purchasing, but her passion for food proved irresistible. After five years, she pivoted—trading hardware reselling for knives—and enrolled at the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC, earning dual certificates in Culinary Arts and Culinary Management.
From recipe testing with chef Sara Moulton to prepping tapas at East Village hotspot Huertas, Victoria dove headfirst into the culinary world. She also brought dishes to life behind the scenes, assisting with food styling for major brands like Good Housekeeping, Keurig, Christmas Tree Shops, Piggly Wiggly, and Pure Protein.
With over a decade in the digital food space, she’s done it all—developing, testing, editing, and photographing recipes that people actually want to cook.
In 2024, Victoria joined Simply Recipes as Editorial Operations Director. Before that, she led editorial at The Spruce Eats, first as Food Editor, then Editorial Director. From project management to food photography, Victoria’s been the engine behind some of the internet’s most trusted culinary content.
