I make most of our family's food from scratch, and many of my meal ideas come from a combination of trying to eat what's in season, what's on sale, and what's easy enough to fit into a typical weeknight.
Then, there's the occasional really worth it convenience food that I'll occasionally stock up on to make the busiest nights even easier. So, when I heard about Amylu's Teriyaki Pineapple Chicken Meatballs, my ears perked up.
We're a big meatball family. I love turning ground meat into orbs with diverse flavor profiles using different add-ins. I knew immediately from the flavor combination that these were something that my kids would likely gobble up.
The problem is, they aren't sold at my local Costco, so they're on my list for the next time I'm out of town. I grocery shop when I travel, so it's not unusual to find me hitting up a Costco on a weekend getaway.
The Amylu chicken meatballs are at the top of my list, and I'm eager to try them in our weekly meal rotation. They're $13.99 for a 46-ounce bag, which contains approximately 60 meatballs.

Why Teriyaki Pineapple Chicken Meatballs Are on My Radar
What gets me most excited about these meatballs is how perfectly they fit into my meal planning approach. They offer that rare combination of bold flavor and convenience, which is often hard to find. I've read that they're moist and tender, and at roughly 25 cents per meatball (and even less when on sale), the 60-count bag from Costco offers incredible value for multiple meals.
The meatballs are made with antibiotic-free chicken, come fully cooked, and are packed with real fruit pieces. The teriyaki-pineapple combination is particularly appealing, as it fills the gap between kid-friendly and adult-approved tastes with a sweet-savory flavor profile, a perpetual win at our dinner table.
The most significant selling point, however, is that I can have a fully cooked, high-protein option that's ready in minutes. This is a game-changer for those nights when the idea of extensive chopping or multiple pans just isn't feasible, or when I need a quick, high-protein lunch option to round out some leftovers for myself or my kids.
How To Use Chicken Meatballs
I can already see myself heating and serving them over rice with a snappy cucumber salad. They'd also be a fantastic addition to noodle bowls or paired with pineapple and veggie skewers. We often thread fresh pineapple chunks, bell pepper pieces, and red onion onto bamboo skewers and brush them with a marinade.
I could also see them added to a red curry or tucked into flour tortillas or mini Hawaiian rolls to make tacos or sliders. Served with a dollop of sriracha mayo and a sweet and spicy slaw, it'll make a complete meal.
Where To Find Amylu's Teriyaki Pineapple Chicken Meatballs
Right now, you can find the meatballs at Costco locations in the Northeast and Midwest. They're sold in Costco's refrigerated deli section, along with other heat-and-eat meals, but are also freezer-friendly and can be stored for up to six months.
If you don’t live near a Costco that has Amylu's, you can find the teriyaki pineapple chicken meatballs at other grocery stores, too. Only Costco stocks the 46-ounce "club pack," though—Kroger stores and other grocers sell a 10-ounce box.
I'll be stocking my freezer when I find them at Costco!
